Foxfire Log Cabins

This was my 2nd time staying in this cabin with a group of friends, and, once again, it was a fabulous experience. Very well located and well stocked for just about everything you would need. I arrived home to realize I had left a few items, but after a quick phone call, my items were wrapped & boxed securely, and back to me within a few days! I highly recommend Foxfire Cabins for your next stay when visiting this area.

Beautiful! Foxfire cabins, what can I say - the property is absolutely gorgeous 😍 We stayed in the main cabin, and it was just like being at home. Everything you needed was there. The main cabin is decorated beautifully, warm, and welcoming. The main house has a fully fenced yard, fire pit, bbq pit, and pkenty of seating. The porch was great for our morning and evening bird watching. So relaxing! The river was steps away. The water was refreshing, and we got to interact with the frogs, turtles, and fish as we floated around. They have several smaller cabins that are so cozy and cute. Also, they had a playscape for kids. I look forward to an annual visit to Foxfire Cabins.

Wow! The pictures online are great but in person Fox Fire is a winner. We stayed in the Main House with 4 adults. The space could easily hold 6 adults, plus kids on the futon. Plenty of space in the kitchen to make meals and hang out. The porch was lovely, picnic tables outside. The fenced in yard was perfect for 3 big dogs to run around. The "river" (small creek) is right outside the back gate and despite the cool weather it was fun to enjoy wading in the clear spring water and splashing around (probably 4 feet deep at the deepest point).

My husband and I brought 2 of our granddaughters and 1 of our adult daughters plus 2 dogs This was our first time here. . It's definitely a nice place to stay. . We enjoyed every thing this place had to offer. The river was a bit dried due to the drought but the river was still very nice to check out and explore. We were able to hangout at the swim hole. (Bring water shoes) That was interesting. We had our family dinner outside on the picnic table that every cabin has by their porch. The staff is very nice, friendly and inviting.. So for all that are thinking or planning to stay, we do recommend it.. BATHROOM has Towels and T. P. are supplied. (Bring own personal items) KITCHEN has cooking utensils and silverware and dishes and cooking pots and pans. If you need extra you may want to bring extra.. You have to supply your own grilling needs accept the grill. We brought food to cook and snack on. They have ice trays but you could also buy bags of ice from the local general store 10 min down the road from location. I HIGHLY suggest if you're staying during the summer to bring an extra stand alone fan like a box fan to circulate the AC throughout the cabin. . Our family truly enjoyed this place. This cabin was the perfect getaway for our staycation. It has everything we needed for our week stay and the surroundings were relaxing and tranquil. I would highly recommend a stay here if your looking to head to the Texas Hill Country. It's also close to 2 major state parks as well as other interesting attractions. Update: Stayed here for a second year and we weren't disappointed. Such a wonderful and peaceful place to getaway and unwind. The cabins are fully equipped with just about everyone you need and the staff are friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice, clean, and cozy cabins. Great for a family getaway. Owner and staff are super nice and extremely helpful. Kids loved the cabin, playground, and swimming hole. The swimming hole even had floatie toys. They have all kinds of board games which are free to use. We really enjoyed sitting outside and grilling on the cabin porch while playing board games as a family and having a glass of wine from the winery nearby. This is definitely a must for a great family getaway from the city. We will definitely come back.
